Visit the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, where orphaned and displaced orang Utans are brought for rehabilitation. Observe these amazing creatures in their natural habitat. Continue on to Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre to catch a glimpse of these charming sun bears – and their impressive climbing skills! Check-in at Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Resort. After lunch, depart to Rainforest Discovery Centre, your gateway to learning about Borneo’s unique and biodiverse rainforests and one of the best birdwatching spots in Sabah. Talk a walk through the forest or walk along the canopy walkway, 150 metres long and 28 metres above ground. Day 2 Borneo Natural Sukau Bilit Resort / Kinabatangan River Cruise Rise to the songs of gibbons and hornbills, nature’s alarm clock gently alerting you on the start of an exciting day! 12:45 Hrs: Venture out on a 2½ hour drive to Kinabatangan River. 16:00 Hrs: Check in at Borneo Natural Sukau Bilit Resort and embark on an evening river cruise to observe the diverse wildlife along the banks of Kinabatangan – proboscis monkeys, orang utan, macaques, pygmy elephants, tropical birds, and more! Day 3 Kinabatangan River Cruise (AM) / Guided Jungle Walk / Kinabatangan River Cruise (PM) Awake to the melodic sounds of gibbons and hornbills beckoning you for a thrilling river cruise along the Kinabatangan River. After the cruise, return to the resort for a hearty breakfast before embarking on a one-hour trek through the surrounding jungle, immersing yourself in the rich biodiversity.
