Day 1 Kota Kinabalu / Jambatan Tamparuli / Nabalu Market / Rabbit Hideout / Kundasang War Memorial / Kundasang Market / Mountain Resort Note: The following is a suggested itinerary but, as this is a private tour, guests are welcome to personalise their schedule based on interests. Please note that entrance fees to attractions are not included, allowing flexibility to plan your own visits and make adjustments as you see fit. Enjoy a convenient pick-up at your hotel lobby or Kota Kinabalu International Airport, and transfer 1 hour to Tamparuli Town. Walk across Jambatan Tamparuli, an iconic suspension bridge steeped in local folklore, so beloved that it even inspired a song and stage production in its name. From there, transfer 1 hour to Nabalu Town and visit the local market, where you can browse through fresh produce and handicrafts with the stunning backdrop of Mount Kinabalu behind you. Stop by Marisini Recreation Park, a mini theme park and the perfect stopover for some family-friendly fun. Here, you can visit the in-house rabbit farm and take fun photos in the selfie garden. Visit the Kundasang War Memorial, dedicated to the British and Australian soldiers who died in the Sandakan Death Marches, and the countless sufferings and sacrifices of the local people during World War II. Day 2 Sosodikon Hill / Desa Cow Farm / Alpaca Club / Kundasang Farmville Rise early for a morning hike up Sosodikon Hill. This beginner-friendly hike should take you no more than 10 to 20 minutes. Head to Desa Cow Farm, the “Little New Zealand of Sabah” where approximately 150,000 litres of fresh milk is produced each month. Home to hundreds of Holstein Friesian cows, here is your opportunity to visit a real-life cattle farm, feed calves and goats, and taste fresh dairy products like yogurt and gelato. Visit the nearby Alpaca Club, the only place in Sabah where you can come face-to-face with these adorable furry creatures and hand-feed them grass as you observe this South American species. Hop on over to Kundasang Farmville with various attractions including an aquaponic farm, a selfie garden, an ice cream bus, and a cafe. Day 3 Kinabalu National Park / Poring Hot Spring & Canopy Walk / Fish Spa / Kota Kinabalu Check out of your mountain resort after breakfast and proceed to Kinabalu National Park, Malaysia's first UNESCO World Heritage Site and part of a UNESCO Global Geopark. The park is home to an estimated 4,500 species of plants, including 1,500 species of orchids, 77 of which are endemic to the area. Here you can also find 289 species of birds and 290 variations of butterflies, as well as a wide variety of pitcher plants. Transfer 1 hour to Poring Hot Spring, where you can dip your toes in the all-natural, mineral-rich hot spring waters of Japanese-styled open-air tubs as you bask in the stunning landscaped gardens that surround you. A cold-water pool is available nearby for those who prefer a more refreshing dip. Take a 20-minute hike to the Poring Canopy Treetop Walk, 105 metres long and 30 metres above the forest floor, offering a bird’s eye view of the surrounding rainforest. Visit a local fish spa for a natural pedicure, where tiny ikan pelian – a local species of fish – nibble at your feet, removing dead skin cells and leaving your feet feeling soft and supple!
