Day 1 Kuching / Kubah National Park 18:00 Hrs – 18:30 Hrs: Enjoy a convenient pick-up from your hotel lobby and transfer 40 minutes to Kubah National Park. Since this tour ends late, you are advised to have an early dinner before the tour begins. Upon arrival, take a leisurely stroll through the park, soaking in its diverse flora and fauna while getting a glimpse of key sites like the Frog Pond along the way. Before starting your tour, your park ranger will give a briefing on the different species of frogs you may encounter on your trek and the importance of Kubah National Park as their natural habitat. After the briefing, embark on a guided tour with your park rangers, exploring the park’s trails and listening out for frog calls as you immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the rainforest. Kubah National Park is home to over 60 species of frogs. Some you may encounter on your trek include the Bornean Horned Frog, Wallace’s Flying Frog, File-Eared Frog, Mahogany Frog, Dark-Eared Tree Frog, Lowland Litter Frog, Harlequin Tree Frog, Black Spotted Tree Frog, Peat Swamp Frog, Kuhl’s Creek Frog, and Matang Narrow Mouth Frog – one of the smallest frog species in the world. 21:00 Hrs – 21:30 Hrs: Transfer back to your Kuching hotel. 22:00 Hrs – 22:30 Hrs: Estimated time of arrival at your hotel – your tour ends here.
