• Semporna Jetty Fee of MYR 10/Non Malaysian or MYR 2/Malaysian per person is not included in this package and payable to the local Semporna Tourism and Semporna District Office. This fee will be collected upon confirmation of booking.

Divers who wish to dive at Sipadan will need to apply and pay for a permit. Kindly note that the allocation and approval of Sipadan Permits are under the management of Sabah Parks. 

Due to permit restrictions where Borneo Divers Mabul Resort is allocated 12 permits daily out of 250 permits, we can only guarantee ONE Day Trip to Sipadan Island if you stay a minimum of 5 days 4 nights with us. Each room will be guaranteed 2 Sipadan permits only, and the fee of MYR140.00 per person per entry will need to be paid in advance upon booking. Priority goes to guests who take the Diver Package. 

Children below 12 years old are not guaranteed to get Sipadan permits even if they stayed 4 nights and above unless they pay adult price. Sipadan permit allocations are based on resort discretion and group bookings are not guaranteed to go to Sipadan on the same day. 

Any extra entry requests to Sipadan will be subject to availability at a first come first serve basis request during booking at an additional cost of MYR246 per person per trip (inclusive of one day Sipadan permit) to be paid at the resort. This can only be confirmed 3 days before arrival.

You are not allowed to dive 18 hours before your flight. Please schedule your flights accordingly.

There will be an additional charge of MYR 150 for private land transfer per way (Tawau Aiport- Semporna jetty or Semporna jetty-Tawau Airport) and MYR 600 per way (Semporna-Mabul or Mabul-Semporna) for private boat transfer.
• On some occasion, the boat departure time could be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.
• Whenever necessary, the resort management reserves the right to change the boat schedule at any time. Therefore, please always double check with the resort management for your boat & flight information.

SIPADAN PERMIT

• The fee for Entry Permit to Sipadan Island is MYR140 per person per day for divers, non-divers, visitors and children. This entry permit has to be paid before or on arrival in the resort, and is subject to availability.

SEMPORNA JETTY FEE

• Semporna Jetty Fee of MYR 10/Non Malaysian or MYR 2/Malaysian per person is not included in this package and payable to the local Semporna Tourism and Semporna District Office. This fee will be collected upon confirmation of booking.

Divers who wish to dive at Sipadan will need to apply and pay for a permit. Kindly note that the allocation and approval of Sipadan Permits are under the management of Sabah Parks. 

Due to permit restrictions where Borneo Divers Mabul Resort is allocated 12 permits daily out of 250 permits, we can only guarantee ONE Day Trip to Sipadan Island if you stay a minimum of 5 days 4 nights with us. Each room will be guaranteed 2 Sipadan permits only, and the fee of MYR140.00 per person per entry will need to be paid in advance upon booking. Priority goes to guests who take the Diver Package. 

Children below 12 years old are not guaranteed to get Sipadan permits even if they stayed 4 nights and above unless they pay adult price. Sipadan permit allocations are based on resort discretion and group bookings are not guaranteed to go to Sipadan on the same day. 

Any extra entry requests to Sipadan will be subject to availability at a first come first serve basis request during booking at an additional cost of MYR246 per person per trip (inclusive of one day Sipadan permit) to be paid at the resort. This can only be confirmed 3 days before arrival. 

The following personal details are required in order to apply for the permit:-

• Name on passport with gender
• Passport numbers with nationality
• Date of birth or Age
• No. of logged dives done (For divers)
• Contact address

The resort reserves the right and final decision to proceed or abort any dives or activities for safety reasons or subject to adverse weather or sea conditions, poor visibility and if divers' physical abilities is compromised (for example, due to injuries, intoxication, hangover, and more). 

You are not allowed to dive 18 hours before your flight. Please schedule your flights accordingly.
