Overview of Tour

Also known as Tanjung Simpang Mengayau which means ‘lingering junction’, here is where two great seas, the Sulu & South China sea meet to exchange big sloppy kisses. Walk to the very tip of Borneo, the third largest island in the world, why not? Also feast on breathtaking views of the dramatic rocky outcrop that lace the shoreline, sunsets are also righteously dramatic on this end, picture-perfect we’d say.

About The Location

3 hours from the city marks Kudat, where the South China Sea and Sulu Sea converge. This little slice of paradise, bafflingly beautiful with the harmony of sunny skies, blue seas, palm tree was back then the first capital of British North Borneo Chartered Company. The journey to Kudat is a scenic one, of rolling hills, countryside vistas, paddy fields, villages, small road-side stalls selling delicious local treats and handmade crafts.

The tour was well-organized and the services from our guide Neil was excellent, as he was very friendly and helpful along the tour.

  • Matthew 11/01/2024 Australia

Our trip with Amazing Borneo Tours was wonderful thanks to our well-informed guide Neil. We gained more additional information about the Rungus culture and gong making process from him. Will recomend this agency to my family and friends as it is worth the money.

  • Dany Foo 08/01/2024 Singapore

Our booking experience with Emily was excellent, she proposed to us many interesting places and activities to do for our stay in Sabah. The booking and payment process are smooth and systematic too.

Along the way, make a brief pit stop at some peanut stalls to get some munchies.
