Your journey begins with a hotel pickup in Kuching as you prepare to delve into the heart of Borneo.

Stop at the Lachau Bazaar, a vibrant marketplace where you can immerse yourself in the local culture. Here, you'll have the chance to explore charming shops and the native market, soaking in the rich tapestry of traditions and crafts.

Indulge in an early lunch at a local coffee shop and arrive at the pristine Batang Ai Lake.

Upon your arrival at Batang Ai Lake, a picturesque destination, the adventure takes you to the water as you board a longboat to the next destination, Nanga Sumpa.

After checking in at the welcoming rainforest lodge, savour a delicious dinner and the evening is yours to unwind and connect with nature.

After a hearty breakfast, lace up your hiking boots for a thrilling jungle trek along the river.  

The journey continues upriver by longboat, leading you to the breathtaking Enseluai Waterfall. Here, you can surrender to the beauty of nature, taking a refreshing swim or simply basking in the pristine surroundings. 

 A riverside BBQ lunch will be prepared by your Iban hosts. 

Hop onto a short boat ride to the Delok and Lalang Rivers junction. The boat ride takes approximately 15 minutes.  

From here, a captivating trek of 1-2 hours through orangutan habitat brings you to the enchanting Lubok Kasai Jungle Camp, nestled on the banks of the Lalang River. 

The evening offers moments of relaxation and a chance to spot orangutans, followed by a sumptuous dinner. 

Alternatively, if the weather permits, embark on a short, guided night walk before your overnight stay at Lubok Kasai Jungle Camp.

After a wholesome breakfast, the day's adventure kicks off with a guided rainforest trek to spot orangutans and other remarkable wildlife in their natural habitat. 

Re-energise yourself with a well deserved lunch upon your return to Lubok Kasai.

With your afternoon free for leisure, you can choose to take a refreshing swim in the river or simply bask in the serene beauty of the rainforest surroundings.  

After that, embark on a 1-2 hour walk along the Lalang River, offering another opportunity to encounter orangutans in their natural habitat.  

As evening descends, a delightful dinner awaits, and your second night stay at Lubok Kasai Jungle Camp ensures you remain immersed in the tranquil embrace of the rainforest.   

Awaken to the soothing sounds of the jungle and a hearty breakfast amidst the rainforest.

Depart at 08:00 hrs and head downriver towards the Batang Ai Lake Jetty, with an estimated arrival time of 2 to 2.5 hours.  

Continue the journey overland back to Kuching, with a lunch stop on the way.  

You will be dropped off at your Kuching hotel.
