Amazing Borneo recognises the significant responsibility that comes with every tour and we strictly abide by the highest standard of sustainability. We are committed to ensuring that tourism in Sabah and Sarawak is a two-way street that benefits all stakeholders involved, directly and indirectly.

We strive to ensure that all of our services align with our Responsible Tourism values, working closely with local communities to ensure that our practices are socially responsible and culturally appropriate. We also focus on minimizing our environmental impact, employing eco-friendly practices, and crafting our tour packages to be as green as possible. Additionally, we prioritize economic growth by investing in local suppliers and businesses, creating jobs and contributing to the development of the local economy. Amazing Borneo is dedicated to creating an ethical, sustainable, and off-the-beaten-path travel experience for our customers through our commitment to these three pillars.

Guidelines provide us with a good starting point, but they can only do so much. To ensure that we are truly improving, we set specific, achievable goals for ourselves, the tour operator, to exercise Responsible Tourism and for our customers to practise Responsible Travel. We would like to make sure all parties are actually taking the necessary steps to reach these goals. It is not enough to talk about how we want to become a better Amazing Borneo; we must root our words in actions.
