Tao Art Studio is a creative space providing pottery lessons and promoting creative exchanges. The Studio’s mission is to introduce the art of pottery to the community and the beauty behind working with your hands to create a beautiful piece of art. They believe in sharing that creating ceramic art brings one inner peace and calm within themselves.

The artist behind the making of these ceramic products is none other than, Joanne. From conducting pottery classes to supplying restaurants & cafes across Sabah with her self-made creations. She hopes to bring and show such pleasant thing to one and all. She is also an artist for the 2019, Pillars of Sabah event. Joanne also has an interest in interior designing and that interest bloomed into Tao Art Studio.

Creating clay-works has always helped Joanne in feeling calm and serene even though the ideas may not always be there. From the moment her fingers touch the clay, it is as if time stood still, all distractions disappear and the only things that matter are only her and her clay. You need to be present and focus your mind on the material in your hands, disconnecting from your worries. That's the magic of pottery.
