Ria Mantanani Island Trip

Meeting / Pick-Up Point:

07:00 Hrs: Meet at your hotel lobby for the land transfer to Riverside Jetty in Kota Belud.

Arrival:

09:00 -9:30 Hrs: Arrive at Riverside Jetty, Kota Belud. Proceed for registration.
09:45 Hrs: Attend the itinerary and safety briefing before departing for RIA Mantanani.

Boat Transfer:

10:00 - 10:30 Hrs: Boat departs for RIA Mantanani. Approximately 40 minutes boat ride (subject to sea conditions).

RIA Mantanani:

10:40 - 11:00 Hrs: Arrive at RIA Mantanani and prepare for snorkelling.
11:00 - 12:45 Hrs: Hop on the boat for the snorkelling session at 2 sites. Each site takes 20-30 minutes and is subject to weather conditions).
13:00-14:00 Hrs: Back to Mantanani Island for buffet lunch.
14:00-15:00 Hrs: Enjoy leisure time on the island with activities like a transparent glass boat, kayaking, stand-up paddling, or visiting the Tip of Mantanani.

Return Transfer:

15:00 - 15:30 Hrs: Boat departs back to Riverside Jetty.
15:30 - 16:30 Hrs: Arrival at Riverside Jetty.
16:45 Hrs: Depart back to your hotel in Kota Kinabalu city (or option to extend the tour for Kawa River Cruise).

End of Tour:

Boat Transfer:

10:00 - 10:30 Hrs: Depart by boat to RIA Mantanani, approximately a 40-minute ride (subject to sea conditions).

RIA Mantanani:

10:40 - 11:00 Hrs: Arrive at RIA Mantanani and gear up for snorkeling.
11:00 - 12:45 Hrs: Enjoy a snorkeling session at two different sites, with 20–30 minutes at each site (weather permitting).
13:00 - 14:00 Hrs: Return to Mantanani Island for a buffet lunch.
14:00 - 15:00 Hrs: Relax and enjoy free time with activities such as a transparent glass boat, kayaking, stand-up paddling, or visiting the Tip of Mantanani.

Kawa Kawa River Cruise

15:00 - 15:30 Hrs: Depart by boat to Rampayan Jetty.
16:30 Hrs: Arrive at Rampayan Jetty.
16:30 - 17:30 Hrs: River cruise starts. Keep an eye on interesting wildlife along the way, such as the Proboscis Monkey.
17:30 - 18:00 Hrs: Watch magnificent sunset at Rampayan Beach.
18:00 - 19:00 Hrs: Dinner is served.
19:00 - 19:30 Hrs: Depart for another river cruise to see fireflies along the river bank.
19:30 Hrs: Depart back to your hotel.

Boat journey to the island may not be suitable for individuals suffering from the following ailments: heart or lung conditions, recent surgery, back or spinal surgery, back problems / injury / fracture, arthritis, osteoporosis or other similar spinal and pelvic diseases. Pregnant women are also not recommended as boat rides tend to be bumpy depending on sea conditions. If you are suffering from similar issues as mentioned above, kindly consult with your physician before enrolling in this activity.
