Day 1 - Kuching / Serikin Border Weekend Market

09:00 Hrs: Meet up at your hotel lobby and transfer 1.5 hours to Serikin, a small Bidayuh town located along the border of Malaysia and Indonesia. 

Explore the Serikin Border Weekend Market, held every Saturday and Sunday, renowned for its diverse array of goods, including textiles, handicrafts, clothing, traditional medicine, and fresh produce. Take your time to browse the stalls, interact with vendors, and purchase souvenirs and gifts. 

Browse through region-specific items such as handmade crafts, traditional Indonesian batik, and local snacks. 

Engage with local vendors to learn about their crafts and traditions, gaining insights into the local way of life, influenced by a blend of culture and practices from both sides of the border.

    • In other circumstances, children aged between 3 and 12 years old will be charged 50% of the adult rate. 
    • Infants aged 2 years and below can participate free of charge. 
    • An additional surcharge applies for pick-ups and drop-offs in the Damai area.
