Day 1 - Kota Kinabalu / Filipino Market / Tun Mustapha Tower / Sabah Floating Mosque / Tanjung Aru Beach / Seafood Dinner / Foh Sang OR Api-Api Night Market

Welcome to the Land Below the Wind! We will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. 

15:00 Hrs: Start your Kota Kinabalu adventure with a visit to the Filipino Market. Immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and smells as you explore the stalls overflowing with fresh seafood, handcrafted souvenirs, and unique local finds.

Your next destination is the Tun Mustapha Tower. Completed in 1977, this Kota Kinabalu landmark is known for its impressive single-column structure.

Next, prepare to be captivated by the Sabah Floating Mosque. Inspired by the iconic Nabawi Mosque, its stunning architecture will surely leave visitors speechless.

As the day winds down, take a leisurely stroll along Tanjung Aru Beach and witness a breathtaking sunset over the horizon. Grab a delicious snack from the nearby food vendors before your next stop.

Indulge in a delectable seafood dinner featuring fresh local flavours and traditional Sabahan cuisine. Savour the bounty of the sea and experience the unique taste of Kota Kinabalu.

If your visit falls on a Friday or Saturday, swap the dinner for a visit to the Api Api Night Market or the Foh Sang Night Market. Explore the vibrant atmosphere and discover a variety of delicious local treats. Depending on the season, you may even try the King of Fruits (durian) and the Queen of Fruits (mangosteen)!

After a day filled with exploration and delicious experiences, return to your hotel for a well-deserved rest and prepare for your next exciting adventure in Kota Kinabalu.

Day 2 - Tunku Abdul Rahman Park (TARP) - Manukan and Sapi Islands

Be greeted by our friendly guides right at your hotel lobby and whisked away to the jetty.  Hop on a 20-minute boat ride to your first island stop – don't forget your sunhat for this scenic journey! 

Soak up the sun on Sapi Island's pristine beaches. Snorkel into the crystal-clear water, relax on the warm sand, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. 

After Sapi, take the speedboat to Manukan Island for more fun and relaxation. 

Enjoy a delectable lunch at the Manukan Island Resort before exploring the island at your own pace. You can also continue with snorkelling or optional water sports activities.

Relax on the return boat ride to Kota Kinabalu jetty, followed by a transfer back to your hotel.

Day 3 - Kota Kinabalu / Tamparuli Town / Nabalu Market / Desa Cow Farm / Kundasang

Good morning! After breakfast, check out of your accommodation and meet our guide at the hotel lobby for your journey to Kundasang.

The first pit stop is the rustic town of Tamparuli. Stroll across the iconic Tamparuli suspension bridge and enjoy the cultural performance at the end of the bridge.

Next, explore the Nabalu Handicraft Market. Here, local vendors sell fresh produce, homegrown vegetables, and unique handcrafted souvenirs. Make sure to visit the nearby viewpoint for stunning Mount Kinabalu vistas.

Afterwards, savour a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before continuing your journey. 

Your next destination is the Desa Cow Farm. Travel along narrow roads to this picturesque 199-hectare farmland nestled at the foot of Mount Kinabalu. Witness cattle grazing on green pastures with the stunning mountain backdrop. Get up close to the cows, feed the calves, and enjoy fresh farm-produced milk and yoghurt.

As the day winds down, transfer to Kundasang. Check into your mountain resort and enjoy some leisure time. In the evening, indulge in a delightful dinner before settling in for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 4 - Poring Hot Spring & Canopy Treetop Walk / Kinabalu Park / Kota Kinabalu

Breathe in the fresh mountain air and enjoy a picturesque breakfast with Mount Kinabalu as your stunning backdrop. After breakfast, check out of your accommodation and get ready for a day of adventure.

First, visit Poring Hot Springs. Lace up your shoes for a 20-minute hike to the Canopy Treetop Walk. This 175-meter suspended walkway offers breathtaking views from 60 meters above the ground—perfect for those seeking an adrenaline rush!

After your treetop adventure, unwind with a relaxing soak in the soothing sulfur baths in the Japanese-style open-air tubs. If you prefer a refreshing dip, the nearby cold-water pool awaits.

Replenish your energy with a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before embarking on your next adventure.

Head to Kinabalu National Park, Malaysia's first UNESCO World Heritage Site and Global Geopark, situated an impressive 1,500 meters above sea level. Be captivated by the majestic sight of Mount Kinabalu, towering at an incredible 4,095.2 meters, one of Southeast Asia's highest peaks.

Take a guided nature walk through the Botanical Garden. Learn about the park's incredible biodiversity and marvel at the diverse plant life.

Return to Kota Kinabalu city as the day winds down, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel.

Day 5 - Mari Mari Cultural Village / North Borneo Sunset Dinner Cruise

Kick off your adventure with a pick-up from your hotel lobby for your 45-minute drive to Mari Mari Cultural Village. 

Immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of Sabah's culture as you explore ethnic longhouses representing different tribes. 

Witness live demonstrations showcasing traditional skills like blowpipe dart-shooting, bamboo fire-starting, henna tattoo art, and the fascinating "lansaran" trampoline jumping. Throughout your visit, you'll get the chance to try traditional Sabahan delicacies and drinks served in bamboo. Afterwards, immerse yourself in Sabah's vibrant culture with a performance of traditional dances!

Enjoy a delectable buffet lunch at Mari Mari Cultural Village before heading back to your hotel.

After a quick rest at the hotel, head to Sutera Marina Jetty to board the North Borneo Cruises and set sail for a stunning 2-hour sunset cruise along the Kota Kinabalu waterfront. As the sun dips below the horizon, indulge in a delectable international buffet dinner while enjoying the live music onboard.

Finally, bid farewell to the crew and enjoy a transfer back to your hotel.

Day 6 - Departure or Extend Tour

NORTH BORNEO CRUISES

  • Tables and Seats are allocated onboard the cruises, sharing-table basis. Your seat will be allocated according to safe distancing guidelines. 
  • A surcharge of MYR150 will apply if you wish to reserve a private table by the window. Please check with your tour consultant for availability. 
  • All rates displayed are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and inclusive of 0% Goods and Services Tax (GST). 
  • Guests are required to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to departure at Sutera Marina Jetty. 
  • No outside food and drinks are allowed onboard the cruise. 
  • Soft drinks and alcoholic drinks are available for purchase on board. 
  • Consumption of drugs or conducting any illegal activity is strictly prohibited. 
  • All guests are required to behave in a respectful manner to all members of the crew and attendants. The operator reserves the right to involve authorities should there be any violent or unruly behaviour occur. 
  • The cruise captain holds full authority regarding the safety of the vessel and its passengers. 
  • Passengers with disabilities must be accompanied at all times. The crew will not be liable in any case aside from bringing them on board. 

TWIN ISLAND HOPPING 

  • Please do not bring valuables, as there are no lockers on the islands.  
  • Your belongings may get wet. You can bring along waterproof bags such as dry bags or plastic bags to keep your belongings nice and dry!  
  • Before going out for some fun in the sun, you may bring along some SPF50 sunscreen and an umbrella to protect your skin.   
  • For any Island tour, if you're interested in water sports (e.g. banana boat, sea walking, parasailing, etc), be sure to bring a little extra cash as these activities are not included in our tour package.  
  • The boat journey to the island is not recommended for individuals with heart or lung conditions, recent surgeries, back or spinal issues, arthritis, osteoporosis, or pregnant women due to potential sea conditions. If you have any of these conditions, please consult your physician before participating in this activity.  
  • Jellyfish season is unpredictable but typically occurs mid to late year. If stung, inform our trained guides for first aid. While jellyfish are common, their stings are usually harmless and may cause minor itching.   
  • You'll visit Manukan Island and Sapi Island on your hop. In some cases, Mamutik Island may replace one depending on crowd, water, jetty, or logistics. Sulug Island is not visited due to safety concerns involving water currents and a damaged jetty. 

KINABALU PARK & PORING HOT SPRING

  • For optional tours, you have the flexibility to add extra tours or adjust your itinerary, such as incorporating visits to Kundasang War Memorial, Fish Spa, Sabah Tea Garden, Kundasang Vegetables Market, and more. Feel free to reach out to your tour consultant to discuss any associated amendment charges. 
  • Kinabalu Park is at a high altitude, approximately 1500 meters above sea level. Do consider bringing warm clothings since it can get cold. 
  • The Canopy Walkway is approximately 60 meters above the ground, not for the faint of heart. 
  • Poring Hot Spring outdoor bathtubs are for complimentary use and are free of charge. Guests can rent Indoor bathtubs but at their own expense. 
  • There are only ten (10) standard and five (05) deluxe Indoor Bathtubs at Poring Hot Spring. Rates are MYR 15 per hour per standard indoor bathtub and MYR 20 per hour per deluxe indoor bathtub, payable on the spot but are subject to availability. 
  • The Slide Pool in Poring Hot Springs is closed on Mondays for maintenance. Guests can purchase the entrance fee (at their own expense) for MYR 3 per person. It is free for children 6 years old and below. 
  • Kindly take note that camera fees apply before entering Canopy Walk. Cameras will be charged MYR 5 each and Video Cameras / Camcorders will be charged MYR 30 each. 
  • Butterfly Farm, located in Poring Hot Springs, is closed every Monday. 
  • Depending on the season, you may get the rare chance to spot the Rafflesia flowers in bloom, which only lasts for 3 to 5 days. They are located in the private gardens beside Poring Hot Springs. Entrance fees are at MYR 30 per person, though this will be at your own expense. 
  • You can choose to wait at the resting area if you do not wish to proceed for any of the nature walks. 
  • This package is based on a join-in basis of shared guide and transport vehicle. Private Guide or Tour is available upon request at a reasonable fee. Please inform us when making the bookings. 
  • Baby Car Seats (for infants aged 0-2) and Child Booster Seats (for children aged 3-11) are available for rental. Please check with your tour consultant for availability. 
  • Departure time is approximate and varies from different hotels due to traffic conditions, please reconfirm with our staffs. Should the transport be delayed, please call the relevant telephone number as stated on the voucher before making alternative arrangements.
