Sample itinerary

Day 1 - Kota Kinabalu / Filipino Market / Tun Mustapha Tower / Sabah Floating Mosque / Tanjung Aru Beach / Seafood Dinner / Foh Sang OR Api-Api Night Market

Welcome to the Land Below the Wind! We will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel for check-in.

15:00 Hrs: We'll pick you up from your hotel and take you to explore the Filipino Market.

Enjoy seafood galore with great bargains and cheap buys! A plethora of fresh succulent seafood will have you spoiled for choice. Make your way through a sensory voyage of aromas, handicrafts, woodwork, cultured pearls and clothing.  

Your next stop is the Tun Mustapha Tower. This 30-storey tower is one of the few buildings in the world with a single-column structure, making it one of Kota Kinabalu's crowning achievements when the construction was completed in 1977.   

The next destination is the Sabah City Mosque, also known as Sabah Floating Mosque. Often considered one of the most beautiful mosques in Malaysia, you will be snapping pictures non-stop for its splendour aesthetics, which was based on the iconic Nabawi Mosque. 

Experience the sunset at Tanjung Aru Beach by walking along the seaside as you indulge in the glorious view of the sun going down over the horizon. If you are feeling peckish, head to the nearby stalls and treat yourself to a myriad of tasty grubs! 

Afterwards, indulge in a delicious seafood dinner and relish the local Sabahan flavours and fresh produce.   

If your visit falls on a Friday or Saturday, we'll explore either the Api Api Night Market at Gaya Street or the Foh Sang Night Market, where you can savour delightful supper treats. Additionally, during the fruiting season, you'll have the chance to enjoy the King of Fruits, the durian, and the Queen of Fruits, the mangosteen! 

Transfer back to your hotel.

Day 2 - Mari Mari Cultural Village / North Borneo Sunset Dinner Cruise

Your adventure begins with a hotel lobby pick-up for the 45-minute journey to Mari Mari Cultural Village.

Explore ethnic longhouses, each representing a different Sabah tribe. Be captivated by live demonstrations like blowpipe dart-shooting, bamboo fire-starting, traditional tattoo art, and "Lansaran" trampoline jumping. Be entertained with a lively cultural dance performance. 

Taste Sabahan delicacies and drinks served in bamboo. 

Enjoy your buffet lunch at Mari Mari Cultural Village before heading back to the hotel.

After a quick rest at the hotel, head to Sutera Marina Jetty to board the North Borneo Cruises. Enjoy a luxurious 2-hour sunset cruise with live band music along the Kota Kinabalu waterfront. 

Relish an international buffet dinner while indulging in the live band performance on board. 

Bid farewell and return to your hotel.

Day 3 - Kota Kinabalu / Tamparuli Town / Nabalu Market / Desa Cow Farm / Kundasang

Start your day with a trip into Sabah's lush countryside. 

Your first stop is Tamparuli Town. Immerse yourself in its rustic charm and stroll across the iconic Tamparuli suspension bridge.

Next is the Nabalu Handicraft Market. Here, you will find locals offering fresh produce, homegrown vegetables, and unique handicraft souvenirs. Make sure to visit the nearby viewpoint for stunning Mount Kinabalu vistas.

After exploring the market, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

Afterwards, we will head over to Desa Cow Farm. Narrow roads lead you to a picturesque 199-hectare farmland nestled at the foot of Mount Kinabalu. Get up close to the cows, feed the adorable calves, and indulge in fresh farm-produced milk and yoghurt while enjoying the mountain view.

Transfer to Kundasang, check into your mountain resort accommodation, and enjoy some leisure time to explore the resort at your own pace.

In the evening, savour a delightful dinner before settling in for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 4 - Poring Hot Spring & Canopy Treetop Walk / Kinabalu Park / Kota Kinabalu

Wake up and enjoy your breakfast with the picturesque view of Mount Kinabalu as the backdrop. Check out of your accommodation afterwards.

Kick off your day with a visit to the Poring Hot Springs. Start the 20-minute hike to the thrilling Canopy Treetop Walk, a 175-meter suspended walkway offering stunning views 60 meters above the ground.

After the adrenaline rush, unwind with a soothing sulphur bath in Japanese-style open-air tubs surrounded by lush gardens. The nearby cold-water pool awaits those seeking refreshing dips.

Savour a delicious lunch at a local restaurant and refuel for the next adventure.

In the afternoon, explore Malaysia's first UNESCO World Heritage Site and Global Geopark: Kinabalu National Park, located 1,500 meters above sea level. Be captivated by the sight of Mount Kinabalu, one of Southeast Asia's tallest mountains at 4,095.2 meters.

Enjoy the park's refreshing mountain air and embark on a guided nature walk through the Botanical Garden to learn about the park's incredible biodiversity.

As the day concludes, enjoy a comfortable return trip to Kota Kinabalu city, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.

NORTH BORNEO CRUISES

  • Tables and Seats are allocated onboard the cruises, sharing-table basis. Your seat will be allocated according to safe distancing guidelines. 
  • A surcharge of MYR150 will apply if you wish to reserve a private table by the window. Please check with your tour consultant for availability. 
  • All rates displayed are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and inclusive of 0% Goods and Services Tax (GST). 
  • Guests are required to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to departure at Sutera Marina Jetty. 
  • No outside food and drinks are allowed onboard the cruise. 
  • Soft drinks and alcoholic drinks are available for purchase on board. 
  • Consumption of drugs or conducting any illegal activity is strictly prohibited. 
  • All guests are required to behave in a respectful manner to all members of the crew and attendants. The operator reserves the right to involve authorities should there be any violent or unruly behaviour occur. 
  • The cruise captain holds full authority regarding the safety of the vessel and its passengers. 
  • Passengers with disabilities must be accompanied at all times. The crew will not be liable in any case aside from bringing them on board. 

KINABALU PARK & PORING HOT SPRING

  • For optional tours, you have the flexibility to add extra tours or adjust your itinerary, such as incorporating visits to Kundasang War Memorial, Fish Spa, Sabah Tea Garden, Kundasang Vegetables Market, and more. Feel free to reach out to your tour consultant to discuss any associated amendment charges. 
  • Kinabalu Park is at a high altitude, approximately 1500 meters above sea level. Do consider bringing warm clothings since it can get cold. 
  • The Canopy Walkway is approximately 60 meter above the ground, not for the faint of heart. 
  • Poring Hot Spring opening hours: 08:00 Hrs - 15:00 Hrs (Daily).
  • Poring Hot Spring Outdoor Bathtubs usage is chargeable at  MYR 10/- per tub.
  • There are ten (10) standard and five (05) deluxe Indoor Bathubs at Poring Hot Spring. Rates are at MYR 25/- per hour per standard indoor bathtub and MYR 35/- per hour per deluxe indoor bathtub (subject to availability).
  • The Slide Pool located in Poring Hot Springs is closed every Monday for maintenance. Guests are able to purchase the entrance fee (at own expense) to Slide Pool for MYR 3/- per person. 
  • Kindly take note that camera fees apply before entering Canopy Walk. Cameras will be charged MYR 5 each and Video Cameras / Camcorders will be charged MYR 30 each. 
  • Butterfly Farm, located in Poring Hot Springs, is closed every Monday. 
  • Depending on the season, you may get the rare chance to spot the Rafflesia flowers in bloom, which only lasts for 3 to 5 days. They are located in the private gardens beside Poring Hot Springs. Entrance fees are at MYR 30 per person, though this will be at your own expense. 
  • You can choose to wait at the resting area if you do not wish to proceed for any of the nature walks. 
  • This package is based on a join-in basis of shared guide and transport vehicle. Private Guide or Tour is available upon request at a reasonable fee. Please inform us when making the bookings. 
  • Baby Car Seats (for infants aged 0-2) and Child Booster Seats (for children aged 3-11) are available for rental. Please check with your tour consultant for availability. 
  • Departure time is approximate and varies from different hotels due to traffic conditions, please reconfirm with our staffs. Should the transport be delayed, please call the relevant telephone number as stated on the voucher before making alternative arrangements.
