08:30 Hrs: Meet your driver at the hotel lobby for a warm welcome before departing towards the scenic northern coast of Borneo. This journey takes you to Kudat, a picturesque area where the South China Sea meets the Sulu Sea. Kudat, once the first capital of British North Borneo, boasts pristine beaches, vibrant blue waters, and an idyllic tropical setting.
Along the way, you’ll pass through breathtaking countryside, paddy fields, quaint villages, and sprawling palm oil plantations. There will be opportunities to stop at local stalls selling unique handicrafts and souvenirs. Make a memorable stop in Tuaran, a charming town with boulevard-style streets. Walk across its hanging suspension bridge, visit a peanut stall for a quick bite, and take panoramic photos of the nine-story Chinese Pagoda, flanked by vividly painted guardian deities.
Next, head to Bavanggazo Village, home to the Rungus people, a sub-tribe of the indigenous Kadazandusun. The traditional longhouse, built entirely from local materials, offers a glimpse into their lifestyle, intricate beadwork, and traditional attire.
Lunch will be served Rungus-style, featuring hearty native dishes (at your own expense).
After lunch, journey to the Tip of Borneo, or Tanjung Simpang Mengayau, which translates to "lingering junction." This serene spot marks where the South China Sea and Sulu Sea meet. Enjoy a leisurely walk along its pristine white sand beaches and admire dramatic rocky outcrops against a stunning ocean backdrop.
The final stop is Kudat town, where you can explore the nostalgic charm of this historical settlement. Then, return to Bavanggazo Longhouse, where the evening is yours to relax and soak in the peaceful surroundings.
Dinner (at your own expense) is paired with an enchanting cultural performance, featuring the Anggalang Magunatip, a traditional Murut dance that once celebrated victorious warriors. You’ll also witness Rungus dances, and if you’re lucky, learn the art of playing the nose flute of Tuahi from the village elders.
End your day with an overnight stay in the Longhouse, surrounded by the authentic ambience of Rungus culture.

Wake up to the sights and sounds of the traditional Rungus longhouse and enjoy a simple breakfast (at your own expense). After bidding farewell to your hosts, set off for the Gong Village, renowned for its skilled artisans and their handcrafted Gongs, a musical instrument steeped in tradition and cultural significance.
Continue to the Borneo Honeybee Centre, where you’ll gain insight into the fascinating world of honey production. Witness the inner workings of a honey farm and savor a sample of raw honey straight from the comb.
