Day 1 - Lahad Datu / Tabin Wildlife Reserve / Lipad Mud Volcano Trekking

Prepare for an adventure as you're whisked away from Lahad Datu airport, heading towards the captivating Tabin Wildlife Reserve.  

Settle into the charm of Tabin Wildlife Resort, where an inviting timber lodge awaits, boasting a private balcony, ceiling fan, and the luxury of a hot water shower amidst the forest's embrace.  

Surrounded by the rainforest along the Lipad River, this sanctuary teems with a delightful array of birds, insects, and even small mammals, creating an enchanting atmosphere right at your doorstep. In the afternoon, your journey continues to the Lipad mud volcano, a mineral salt lick attracting a plethora of wildlife. A 20-minute trek leads you to this natural wonderland, adorned with abundant animal footprints.

Day 3 - Tabin Rock Pool / Semporna

Day 4 - Semporna / Sipadan Kapalai Dive Resort

Upon your arrival at the hotel lobby, our team will extend a warm welcome and transfer you to Semporna private jetty.

Day 6 - Sipadan Kapalai Dive Resort / Semporna / Tawau Airport

After checking out from the resort, take a scenic ride back to Semporna. Transition seamlessly for your transfer to Tawau Airport, preparing for your flight to your next destination!

  • Effective as of 1st September 2017, the Tourism and Culture Ministry of Malaysia will be implementing a Malaysian Tourism Tax (TTX). Foreign tourists will be required to pay a flat rate of MYR 10 per room per night regardless of accommodation star level. The TTX is to be paid upon check-in. Malaysians or permanent residents residing in Malaysia are exempted from TTX and is required to present a valid identification upon check-in for the exemption.

  • The first boat transfer to Sipadan Kapalai Dive Resort is 10:30hrs. 
  • Please note chalets are a mixture of air-conditioned and fan only rooms and are assigned run-of-house basis (first come, first served) by the resort. 
  • This package is based on a join-in basis of shared guide and transport vehicle. Private Guide or Tour is available upon request at a reasonable fee. Please inform us when making the bookings.

Pregnant women are also not recommended as the boat ride may be bumpy depending on the sea condition.   • Amazing Borneo and Sipadan Kapalai Dive Resort will not be held liable for any delay, additional expenses or inconvenience which may be caused directly or indirectly by events outside of the company's control, such as late arrival of domestic or international flights, civil disturbances, fire, floods, unusually severe weather, act of God, act of Government, or the failure of any machinery or equipment and property whilst staying at the resort, of during participation of any activity. 
  • In the unlikely event that the dive trip is cancelled due to bad weather, rough and dangerous sea conditions, a natural disaster, an act of God, war, political unrest, or a danger to passengers or the boat, then the resort has the right to cancel or delay the departure. The resort withholds the right to change the planned itinerary, leave for the jetty early or change the schedule.
