Day 1 Arrival / Miri City Tour Meet and greet at Miri Airport upon arrival before taking you around the city on a guided tour. We will be making a stop at historical places and interesting spots around the city, including Canada Hill, Petroleum Museum, Grand Old Lady, Old Chinese Temple (WWII surviving building), local herbs shop, Kek Lapis Sarawak shop, Sarawak handicrafts shop & tamu (local weekly market). Day 2 Niah National Park Your second day starts now! After having your sumptuous breakfast, we will pick you up from the hotel and head for a 1 ½-hour journey towards Niah National Park via the Miri-Bintulu Coastal Highway. On arrival, register at the park counter and visit the Interpretation Center before proceeding to the Pangkalan Lobang Jetty for the boat ride and safety briefing. You will make a short visit to the Niah Archaeology Museum before starting your 3KM trek towards Niah Caves. Your first point is the Traders’ Cave where you can explore the stories behind the trading post and the traditional old belief of the locals that live around the area from your guide. After that, continue your journey to one of the world’s biggest cave mouths, The Great Cave. You will see how the bird’s nest collectors do their job to collect the bird nest with their ancient skills. Once you are done exploring, return to the Park HQ and transfer for your late lunch. In just 40-45 minutes more, you'll find yourself at the Desa Cattle Dairy Farm, often called Sabah's "Little New Zealand." Take in the breathtaking sights of Mount Kinabalu, interact with adorable calves and goats, and savour the farm's fresh milk or gelato while capturing the stunning scenery.
