Feel free to roam around the vessel; the upper deck boasts breathtaking ocean views, a tranquil sunset atmosphere, and refreshing sea breezes. Below deck, an ethnic-themed air-conditioned restaurant awaits, featuring live acoustic music to entertain guests throughout the evening.

Indulge in a buffet-style dinner showcasing Sabah's most sought-after culinary delights. As the sun sets and the stars illuminate the sky, witness the dazzling city lights along Kota Kinabalu's coastline. Treat yourself to delightful food and views as the North Borneo Cruises gracefully glides along the Waterfront.

Day 2 - Tunku Abdul Rahman Park (TARP) - Manukan and Sapi Islands

Our friendly guides will meet you in the lobby, marking the start of your exciting adventure. From there, we'll swiftly transport you to the jetty where the real fun begins.

Upon arrival at the jetty, get ready for a thrilling 20-minute boat ride to our first island stop! Hold onto your sunhats for an exhilarating experience ahead.

At Sapi Island, bask in the sunshine, take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters, sink your toes into the warm sand, and immerse yourself in the serene ambiance of the island.

Day 3 - [Flight] Kota Kinabalu International Airport / Arrival in Mulu / Deer and Lang Caves / Bat Exodus

Departure day kicks off as you're whisked from your hotel lobby to Kota Kinabalu International Airport, bound for your next destination, Mulu in Sarawak!

Upon landing at Mulu Airport, a transfer will be arranged to take you to your accommodation for a seamless check-in process.

Following a satisfying lunch, gather at 1400hrs for a comprehensive safety briefing by our knowledgeable local guide. Then, embark on an invigorating 3KM journey along raised plank walks to reach the Bat Observatory, a trek lasting approximately 40 minutes to 1 hour.

Continue your exploration by covering 500m to marvel at one of the world's largest cave passages, which houses over 3 million Wrinkle-Lipped bats.

Admire the stunning high cave ceilings of Deer Cave, providing a sanctuary for swiftlets. Witness the majestic limestone passage, an ancient riverbed sculpted by the force of water.

Discover the green oasis, referred to as the Garden of Eden, located 800m within Deer Cave. Here, be amazed by Adam and Eve's showers, where water columns erupt 30m down to the riverbed below.

Visit Lang's Cave, showcasing exquisite limestone shawls, stalagmites, and stalactites. Observe the bats inhabiting this smaller cave and marvel at the shimmering webs created by threadworm larvae, a fascinating sight within the Mulu Caves.

The bat exodus spectacle may commence anytime after 1700hrs. At the Bat Observatory, a small kiosk offers drinks and snacks until 1730hrs. Please adhere to World Heritage guidelines by returning empty packaging to Park HQ. Facilities like toilets and designated smoking areas are available.

Conclude the day's adventures with a satisfying dinner at your accommodation, where you can unwind and enjoy a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 4 - Batu Bungan - Penan Settlement / Winds & Clearwater Caves

Begin your day after breakfast by meeting at 0800hrs in the resort lobby or Park HQ.

You may try out the blowpipe experience at your own expense or explore the local handicraft and arts market in the Penan Settlement.

Make a stopover at the Cave of the Winds (Wind Cave), which involves a walk along a long ramp and a few stairs. Your last stop is Clearwater, where you'll witness the emergence of a subterranean river from the cliff face. Access the cave by climbing 200 flights of stairs to marvel at the endemic Monophilia Pendula in Mulu.

Clearwater Cave is one of the world's largest cave systems, measuring over 220km in length. While swimming inside the cave is not permitted, you can cool down at the picnic deck in crystal-clear waters, surrounded by the rainforest and fish.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at the Clearwater Rest Hut. Restroom facilities and designated smoking areas are available. After your lunch, return to your accommodation.

  • Your belongings may get wet. You can bring along waterproof bags such as dry bags or plastic bags to keep your belongings nice and dry!
  • Before going out for some fun in the sun, you may bring along some SPF50 sunscreen and an umbrella to protect your skin.

  • Valid Passport or Identification Cards
  • Photocopies of these documents for check-in and registration at the park management office.
  • We recommend booking a post-tour flight from Mulu to Miri or Kuching with an extra night's stay for an enhanced holiday experience, considering potentially unfavourable flight timings from Mulu to Kota Kinabalu.
