Day 1 - Kuching / Bengoh Dam / Susung Waterfall / Bengoh Homestay

Start your adventure by meeting your experienced tour guide at the designated meeting point in Kuching City and embark on a scenic 1-hour drive south to Bengoh Dam.

Your adventure begins with an exciting trek to Kling Waterfall. Take a refreshing dip to cool off upon arrival.

After changing into dry clothes, enjoy a packed lunch to recharge for the next leg of your trek.

Continue trekking to Susung Waterfall, where you'll witness its beauty and feel the cool ambience. Don't miss the chance to capture photos at the unique tree root resembling a swing – a signature spot for memorable pictures.

After your exploration, trek back to the jetty and transfer to your local Bengoh homestay for the night.

Cap off the day with a delicious local dinner before settling in for a restful overnight stay.

Day 2 - Bengoh Homestay / Kampung Sting / Kuching

Wake up with a hearty breakfast before embarking on a scenic 45-minute boat ride to Kampung Sting.

This Bidayuh village plays a crucial role in maintaining the hiking trail to Susung Waterfall. Upon arrival, prepare to be awestruck by the panoramic views of Bengoh Dam from your elevated vantage point.

Explore the charming Kampung Sting, walk along bamboo bridges and wooden stairs reminiscent of traditional longhouse steps. Take in the beauty of the village huts crafted by the local villagers.

Immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of the lake and its picturesque surroundings before embarking on your return trek to the jetty.

  • Leeches are common on the hike to Susung Waterfall. To ensure a more comfortable trek, consider packing mosquito and leech repellent.
  • The trekking is relatively easy, featuring a well-maintained route with clear markings and a suspension bridge for added convenience. 
  • Consider bringing a trekking pole or hiking stick for improved grip and stability, especially on steeper terrain. 
  • If you plan to take a refreshing dip at the waterfalls, pack a change of clothes to ensure your comfort. 
  • Even if you don't intend to swim, it's advisable to bring extra dry clothes for changing as the mist from the waterfall can leave you damp.
  • Please show respect for the environment and consideration for fellow hikers by keeping the cleanliness of the hiking trails and waterfall.
  • Please note that the homestay relies on generated electricity, which is typically turned off after midnight.
